The human side of an artist: The creative process exposed

The general impression is that performing artists are fearless and self-confident performers, trained to be fully exposed and ready to fulfil everyone's expectations. But what about about the sometimes sensitive, vulnerable and anxious human being behind the artist's facade? What does being under constant pressure do to an individual?

Annika Fuhrmann (soprano) and Elena Kakaliagou (french horn) set on a bold and open journey to examine this question in a music performance directed by Jaakko Nousiainen. Open talk about doubts and uncertainties with theme-related premiers painted an honest and unpretentious musical picture of the creative process.
